IEEE-USA Past President; Silicon Valley Professional
We will discuss various efforts in the IEEE to broaden the reach and improve the future (such as our Future Directions Committee activities), the New Initiatives Committee, and how IEEE section local groups can play a part in bringing IEEE into the future.
I want to hear your ideas about how IEEE can continue to discover and be engaged in the big technology developments that can make the world better and provide outstanding Career & Leadership opportunities for our global membership.
Bring your questions and comments for the discussion with Tom Coughlin.

Tom Coughlin - Candidate in the 2021 IEEE Presidential Elections. Thanks to support from IEEE members like you, his petition was successful: Thomas is now formally a candidate for the office of "2022 President Elect". I, along with Thomas and his supporters worldwide ask you (IEEE members with voting privileges) to vote for him. Are you already a Coughlin supporter? Contact me about supporting his effort. Are you supporting another candidate? Then we share a common goal: alerting IEEE members everywhere about the issues at stake this year, and significantly boosting voter turnout. I endorse Thomas for a range of reasons.
The most significant reasons are his very solid record of service at all levels of IEEE; the productive and meaningful nature of Thomas' professional activity in industry; his deep commitment to IEEE's role in Sustainable Development (Humanitarian Technology) and Tom's conviction that being an IEEE member or volunteer should not only enhance your career, it should also be fun.
