About CLSE
Thank you for visiting CLSE consulting. The business behind the website is founded on a combination of prior experience acquired under the name "Coffman Communications", and the experience accumulated in the intervening decade (+) in the Silicon Valley. Initial focus was on supporting startups and IP-based social enterprises. My experience also enables me to assist corporate R&D teams in establishing fruitful collaborations with academic teams. Similarly, academic research groups or centers that seek to obtain corporate funding will benefit from the perspective I'm able to offer.
The multicultural, multilingual experience from which I have benefited has previously allowed me to provide language-related support to both individual researchers and a variety of businesses. While ramping up our reliance on experience from Coffman Communications, expect growth in activity supporting researchers and engineers whose first language is not English. Some will be employees at large corporations, seeking to maximize their impact by using their native language to record and develop new ideas. Others will be researchers at institutions around the world, who have found that writing in their native language allows higher efficiency processing of ideas, with the conversion into English viewed as a secondary challenge that can be addressed with the support of professionals such as those at CLSE.
